it's primal, really - rocking back and forth in the perfect rocking chair is soothing, calming and stress relief of the best kind.  and proportionally, formally, there is something fantastic about a chair on skids. lately, pinterest and the blog world can't seem to get enough of eames' now modern classic rocking chairs, and we can't blame them.
